Delete your account
You can delete your Petla account in the app. If you cannot access the app, contact us and we will handle the request manually.
Delete in the app
Open Petla and go to Settings then Delete account. The app also lets you export a JSON copy of your Petla data before deletion.
What deletion covers

Deletion timeline
We will acknowledge your deletion request within 5 business days and complete the deletion of your Petla account data within 30 days of confirmation. For complex requests, we may extend this by up to a further two months — if so, we will notify you within the first 30 days.
Some data may remain in encrypted backup systems for up to 90 days before being fully purged. Provider-managed records (such as RevenueCat billing history or OneSignal delivery identifiers) are governed by those providers' own retention policies.
Subscriptions
If you have an active subscription, deleting your Petla account does not cancel Google Play or App Store billing. You must cancel recurring billing in the relevant app store.
If you cannot access the app
Email hello@petla.uk from the email address linked to your Petla account, or include enough information for us to identify the account safely.
Please include:
- The email address linked to your Petla account
- A short statement that you want your Petla account deleted
- Any useful context if you no longer have access to the original device
